Glossary

A shared vocabulary for content, behavior, and the Suite.

These definitions keep the open scenario model separate from the products that create, distribute, coordinate, and run it.

The portable scenario foundation shared by the Suite.
Scenario
One simulation definition spanning metadata, patients, environment, education, and events.
State
A named scenario condition or phase, including baseline, conclusion, triggered, and scheduled forms.
Action
A learner or operator choice that can trigger a state, reference content, and produce an authored response.
Object
Reusable typed scenario content, such as a medication, diagnostic result, procedure, equipment item, consultation, or information resource.
Base
A reference to a reusable library definition. Merge and resolution semantics remain open.
Key state
A state important to the educational objectives and event output. Baseline and conclusion are automatically key.
Trend
Duration of a vital-sign transition, distinct from event scheduling or result delay.
Encouragement
Delayed learner-facing content or a reference highlighting a changed patient element.
Revision
A fixed publication snapshot of authored content, identified independently of later draft edits.
Digest
A hash identifying serialized content. It does not prove ownership, clinical correctness, or full format compatibility.
Projection
A role-appropriate view derived from scenario content, such as a learner brief or facilitator guide.
Builder
The authoring and production product, including output tools.
Marketplace
The discovery, distribution, and reuse product; listings and receipts are product records.
Center
The institutional coordination product; schedules and local resource mappings remain outside scenario content.
Campus
The learning and runtime product, including classroom; run histories and achievements are product records.
Reference
A reference field or behavior; current implementation is not implied.
Supported
A field accepted by the application scenario schema.
